Her monumental statues, Mother Earth I and II, on the banks of the Leie at Sint-Martens-Latem and Kortrijk, literally express the universal connection, as it were. The sculpture group 'Man and woman connected to the earth' also radiates the universe's peace and strength, half-sunk in the earth. Robust in shape and yet soft in slope.
