Venus

Beautiful young women are portrayed naked and recognizable as Venus by the long, wavy hair Ann Deman has transformed into wings that give the woman the strength to break out. Where the goddess Venus was not born but rose from the foam of the sea, Ann Deman thus creates a world where she invites every woman to be Goddess Venus.

Subtly connected to the earth and agile in many titles, these images can hardly be called monumental. Yet, despite the limited dimensions, this group of sculptures expresses the importance of women in connection with space. Moreover, it expresses her role and honor as the people's mother.
