Joy
The true expression of joy goes beyond a dictionary's limited explanation.
With this work, Ann Deman expresses the feeling of great pleasure and happiness in all tenderness but also strength. The joy experienced expresses life as a limitless, life-defining basin waiting to be tapped.
Joy requires surrender, and, like love, it is a choice that can be made. With this image, Ann allows the viewer to experience the joy of the tense beauty of life.
